An insight into the short-run and long-run effects of foreign investments in Africa, the most promising industries that emerge, while unveiling the perceived risks of investing onthe continent. This panel will be an opportunityforspeakersto talk about their experiences and understanding related to investments and business development in Africa, and their perception of the impacts that foreign investments have onthe continent.
African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) - English
A discussion on how to deepen economic integration between African countries and the lucrative incentives for different states to commerce between them. This panel seeks to find speakers that would like to share their perception on how to increase business ties between African nations through organizations or others, while potentially opening room to debate on the possible creation of a continental SovereignWealthFund (SWF) designed to facilitate trade within Africa. This panel will be duplicated in French.

Career Opportunities within the AFRICAN Diaspora
An overview of the opportunities that organizations and firms have to offer in the career development of Africans and the African diaspora in Canada. This is a platform to promote existing initiatives and contribute to the growth of Africans and their diaspora at the university/career level opportunities (e.g., scholarships, internships, employment prospects).
Healthcare Development in Africa
A conversation on the existing African alternatives to the import of pharmaceutical products for the needs of the Continent. The impediments faced by pharmaceutical industries and regional institutions as well as their assets will be explored to tackle the effectiveness of the delivery of COVID-19 vaccines in Africa. An equal attention will be given to the production and delivery of generic medications on the continent.

L'Émergence du Libre-Echange en Afrique
Une discussion sur la façon d'approfondir l'intégration économique entre les pays africains et les incitations lucratives pour les différents États à faire du commerce entre eux. Ce panel cherche à trouver des intervenants qui souhaitent partager leur perception sur la façon d'accroître les liens commerciaux entre les nations africaines par le biais d'organisations ou autres, tout en ouvrant potentiellement la voie à un débat sur la création éventuelle d'un fonds souverain continental (SWF) destiné à faciliter le commerce en Afrique. Ce panel sera dupliqué en anglais.
