His Excellency M. Sowah is a result-driven, self-motivated and resourceful individual with a proven ability to develop and strengthen management teams in order to maximize company profitability and efficiency. He is experienced in leading and growing all sectors of a business to make it a dynamic and progressive organization.

 

M. Sowah is the current High Commissioner of the Republic of Ghana to Canada and former Managing Director of GCB Bank Limited. His achievements include the launching of G-Money as the bank’s digital banking platform, the creation of GCB Capital Limited as the Investment Banking arm of GCB bank, and the acquisition and seamless integration of UT Bank and Capital Bank in Ghana. 

 

Between 2014 and 2016, His Excellency Anselm Sowah was the Senior Manager of Complice of the Ghana International Bank. He was responsible for embedding the compliance culture within the Bank and ensuring that the entire institution was well briefed and apprised of all current legislation, and understood its impact on the Bank.
